We are running VC 4.1 as a VM on ESXi 4.1 hosts. The VM is in a HA-enabled cluster.
My colleague tells me that they have tested failover and when the physical host running the VC fails it is not automatically brought back up on another host.
From what I've read this should work - is there anything specific you need to setup or is anyone aware of a common reason why this wouldn't work?
