Add virtual disk for VM cause the host abnormal !?

I have one simple ESXi5  server with only local disks in raid5 type. Today I tried to add a 1.2T virtual disk to a VM, then I shutdown this VM and add virtual disk as normal method(default setting). After assigned  the 1.2T disk(no error finished), the datastore still has above 400GB free.

Then I found this  VM cannot be power on .  The event log show about " the curren status of the host can't execute this operation" .   After I reboot the host, the all VMs can't be power on with same event log,  but no error message or  alarm apperaed.

I deleted the 1.2T disk form that VM, and  reboot host again,  that everything is OK.

So, I tried to create two 600GB disk  for that VM, and reboot the host. I found  the VMs startup  very very slowly  and I can't  open the datastore to check.    The host can't be  shutdown or no response to  shutdwon operation.

Now I can't reboot host , can't delete the two 600GB disk , can't startup  all  VMs (maybe just response slowly)  .

It's such a weird issue to me , I think it's just a simple esxi system with few VMs , and my operation was just add virtual disk  to a exist VM.

Any master could give me some suggestion,  please thanks.
