Problem after upgrade to VMWare Player 4.0.1

Hi all

I was running VMWare Player version 3.something quite happily on my 6GB Toshiba Laptop (host OS Windows 7 Home Premium).  I created an Ubuntu 10.04 64 bit VM with 4GB RAM and 50GB HD which ran quite happily and effectively letting me carry out some experiments.  I got a message today to upgrade to VMWare player 4.0.1 which I did.  Since that upgrade though when I try to start m Ubuntu VM I get a dialog box stating that I don't have enough physical RAM to start the VM and I have to downgrade it to 2GB RAM to start it.  I have checked just prior to running the VM and I am only using 1.4 GB in the resource monitor so there should be sufficient RAM.  Does anyone have any ideas?  I have also checked processes and nothing big is running and I am running no other apps at the same time.

Thanks for the help.

All the best

Steve
