That's indeed one of the programs I installed with WPI.
So, are you suggesting that in the future I must try to avoid installing host-hardware drivers in my VM's? Or will it be safe to use after you applied the patch?
I've created my windows xp install with a downloaded iso, and windows 7 is from a stock DVD.
I've added the lines you gave me to the vmx files, and... so far so good Image may be NSFW.

I have both VM's running fine so far!
@ continuum: I cannot run a vmx with these lines in it. I get a syntax error:
