Can you tell me why "merged" mode works in this case for the thinapp'd client to see the host audio drivers? For this app, I really want to avoid any merged attributes and use only writecopy and full isolation. If this is an audio driver issude, the thinapp'd client should be able to see the host file without merged mode.
