Robocopy is a WIndows command line tool which offers many option for copying and synchronizing files, including NTFS permissions and owner information. I used it a lot in the past to migrate large file systems. What you can do with this tool is to copy the whole data while it is still productive on the source system and - at the time of migration - use it to only synchronize modified files with the mirror option.
