Moving a Virtual Machine is no different then any other file management task with the exception that the Virtual Machine should be shutdown, not suspended, and VMware Fusion closed when moving the Virtual Machine Package.
Have a look at: VMware Fusion (menu bar) > Help > Search > type Perform then select, Perform Actions on Your Virtual ...
Have a look at: VMware Fusion (menu bar) > Help > Search > type Package then select, Work with Virtual Machine Packages
