there might be a chance to cheat the disk sizes. Before doing anything else, backup the complete folder to make sure you can at least revert to the current state in case things get worse!
To find out what can be done, I need:
- sqlbackup.vmdk
- the first 1.024 Bytes of sqlbackup-000001.vmdk
- the first 1.024 Bytes of sqlbackup-000003.vmdk
- Web_FTP.vmdk
- the first 1.024 Bytes of Web_FTP-000001.vmdk
- the first 1.024 Bytes of Web_FTP-000003.vmdk
You can extract the first 1.024 Bytes of from the above files using e.g. dd
In case you have a current backup of two descriptor .vmdk files (sqlbackup.vmdk and Web_FTP.vmdk), please provide them too.
Attach all the above files archived in a single .zip file to your next post.
