I just wanted to thank everyone on this forum for always answering my questions and helping me prepare for this exam. Your help was invaluable in the process.
To those who are going to take the exam, here is my advise:
1. Build a lab and perform Every admin task you can think of. Actually doing the tasks will help you remember when it comes to exam time.
2. Mix your learning tools, Books, CBT videos etc. One method may gloss over a topic you just don't get where the other method may dig deep into.
3. Microsoft OneNote, Evernote etc- These type of applications really helped me organize my notes for quick and easy review.
4. Use the VCP forum. Where else can you get instant access to vExperts for free. They are all rock solid!
I was upgrading from VCP 4.1 and I can honestly say this exam hits the mark. The focus is put on actually knowing the product inside and out. The VCP certification is a well respected certification and this exam will further advance that reputation.
