Re: Role for the vm user to browse cd ISO image

Hi Ganesh,

To browse CD ISO image on a datastore, the user role will requires the following permissions:

1. Datastore \ Browse Datastore (For browsing datastore)
2. Virtual Machine \ Interaction \ Configure CD Media (To mount ISO file to CD-ROM drive)

If the ISO file is stored locally (on user's machine), probably do not need the permission for datastore.
