I tried reinstalling the VMWare tools, but the problem still occurs. I haven't tried creating a new VM natively under Fusion 4, and I'm afraid I won't be trying that unless I get desperate (which I'm not, yet). I'm not really an IT guy and creating a new VM frightens me a bit. But thank you for the info.
