Hosts losing Storage paths on secondary HBA after Fibre Switch Reboot

Hi All,

After reboot of Storage Processors some secondary HBA's have not detected all paths to LUNS on SAN storage. A manual rescan of hosts has not corrected this even after waiting several hours. BIOS firmware and OS patch definitions are identical on working on non-working hosts. All 4 out of 6 hosts in cluster were affected.

Logged support call with VMware. They have advised some ports on fibre channel are showing as offline.

A reboot of problematic hosts confirmed all paths and devices for secondary HBA were back online.

Has anyone experienced or heard of this issue?
