To help collect data and narrow down this problem, could you kindly also provide the Model Identifier (from System Profiler) as well as the HDD models (also in System Profiler) for the system that you have which doesn't exhibit this problem, and also let me know which drive is in the OptiBay and whether the original HDD/SSD is still present in the system?
