When I install guest os (Win7 x32) on VMware Player 4.0.2 (Win7 Pro x64) I can't download VMware Tools, Vmware Player told me that he can't find Vmware Tools, try to ask your admin.
In VMware 3.1.5 (Workstation 7) there is no such kind of issue.
