I assumed that if NIC was supported and working with esx 4.1 that it would be logical that it would work in esxi 5 sa well 
Seams I was wrong and yes you are right I should have checked before I upgraded but since this is a test lab machine (not production) I just dived inn.
Can anyone recommend and cheap NIC thats fully compatible (and tested) with esxi 5? Thanks
