VMWare 4 black screen on SBS2011

Hi there, I hope this is posted in the right place and that someone here can help! We have a Dell power edge T310 with 12GB of RAM, 2 x 500GB drives and a H200 raid card. We current run 4VM's 1 x SBS2011, 2 x server 2003 Termianl Servers and 1 x 2008 terminal server.

The problem we have is that our SBS2011 machine keeps locking up. If you are RDP'd to it on the local lan you just get kicked off and then it becomes unresponsive, you cant ping it, if you look in the console tab its just a black screen, the only way to bring it back is to reset the VM then its fine. This seems to happen if the server is under a very large load (data transfer, cpu etc) or when the inbuild backup runs (backs up to a NAS) - not every time but a lot of the time, if the server is doing something and is under some load and the backup starts this is when it will usually crash. None of the other machines ever crash or have issue.

Somebody mentinoed to me about it could be a problem with the video ram so i have increased this to 64mb, installed the vmware tools and still it happens.

Any help would be great! thanks in advance!
