This just got dropped in my lap - I am no VMWare expert, but I have to whip this up quickly...
I am running a base system of Win7/64 Bit;
I need to run a Win7/32 VM and have it connect over the network to the host system so that two applications can chat.
I have configured my VM with two virtual NICs (one is to connect to the host system; one is to connect over the internet to a database server).
My base system has its normal NICs set up.
I have made sure I have the latest updates to both Workstation 8 and Windows 7
Thus far, I am getting nowhere!
I know this must be a dead-simple question compared to the exotic stuff I'm seeing on this forum, but if someone could point me in the right direction, that would be great.
