Hello,
I've installed VMware Server 2.0.2 onto a 64 bit Windows 2008 R2 machine [Dell R810 is the model].
I can create virtual machines, but I can't power them on.
The first time I try, I get this:
"Power on Virtual Machine" failed to complete
VMware Server unrecoverable error (vmx) NOT_IMPLEMENTED
Then, if I try to power it on again, the virtual machine hangs at 95%. The only way to fix this is a reboot of the host machine.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm going to be forced to abandon VMware if i can't get this to work soon, so any help is appreciated.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled VMware a couple of times, and took off USB and other HW from the virtual machines but can't get any to power up.
