I agree. I set it up following the documentation and it worked straight away (had to force policy update from view desktop [1], or wait).
I set up the permissions on the folder that will store users' folders, like \\server\VPRepository\profiles.
Under \profiles folder the users' folders are created automatically the first time they sync. From the View Desktop each user is able to get into \\server\VPRepository\profiles and see all the folders there, but they can only enter inside its own user-specific-folder, nothing else. The permissions on that user-specific-folder are automatically set by View Persona Management.

1. Open MSDOS console
2. Run gpupdate /force
-------------------------------------------
If you are testing, you can change the sync period to 2 minutes (default is 10 min) to speed up the testing.

Tested saving bookmarks from IE (very easy way to send info into replication folder) from Desktop using:
- View client with PCoIP
- View client with RDP
- MSTSC
In the 3 cases the bookmark is replicated to the Persona Management repository.
