I think it's time for an update - news is that vmware still crashes with the same problem, but less frequently (1/3 of the startups) but the important thing is that the problem is still the same and still here.
I think this should be studied seriously, and removed as soon as possible - my experience so far with the vmware workstation has been excellent, and I really love this software.
However, to introduce this kind of nasty problem ... I really don't know what to say guys (to Vmware guys) ?!?
I hope something will be done about this, and soon.
Here's the report from video driver crash that should have been sent to ATI, but strangely that e-mail address doesn't exist ???
